| Hi, Considering moving to a 3 bedroom detached house in Southwater (off Cedar Drive) from our current 2 bedroom mid terrace in Horsham. My wife and I are around 30 with a 2 year old daughter. Would be grateful if anyone is able to answer some of the following questions:- 1) We have visited the new shopping complex and saw chinese, indian & fish & chip restaurants together with a DVD rental, cycle shop, Nat West, post office & gift shop. Are there any other shops/restaurants due to be built? 2) Is there a website I can get info on the new development? 3) Does Southwater have any significant anti-social behavioural issues? 4) Is there enough for little kids to do in Southwater? 5) Would you recommend living in Southwater? Thank you very much

| Hi, Most of the shops are built and open, however there is a largest co op opening soon, i am fairly sure there is a website but i don't know the address. With regards to anti social behavior there is some annoying behavior around the village, silly vandalism etc but on the whole it is pretty good, I have raised two girls from birth to secondary school and the village has always serviced our needs there are various clubs, playgroups and play areas around. There is a village centre in the heart of Cedar drive which offers many activities including a gym, shame they don't do a family membership though. Southwater parish council has a web site which gives info. there is also a parish booklet, monthly, that advertises. Both of the Southwater schools are excellent, Can't make comment to Castlewood as our's never went there. I am sure someone will make comment. Bear in mind you are in the Tanbridge catchment area for secondary schools, food for thought if you want Millais. Time passes very quickly with kids believe me. Local Doctors are good and modern as is the dentist. Regular bus routes with plenty of stops around Cedar drive, far to expensive though. (Hope your reading Arriva) All in all We have enjoyed our years in southwater and have no intention of moving on
