I have just heard a whisper that the Channel 4 show 'Location, Location, Location' will be filming in and around Horsham on the afternoon of Tuesday 15th August.

Apparently Horsham District had made it into their top ten list of desirable place to live in the UK.

The programme is scheduled to be broadcast on Channel 4 in October. When I find out the exact date or obtain more details I will publish it here.

You sure we are not in the bottom ten? Mid sussex seems to be one the worst according to the Channel 4 'Location Location Location' web site!

The list you refer to relates to property price movement, i.e. is the area considered a good investment?

The new list refers to desirability, i.e would you want to live there?

I obviously haven't seen the show yet but I don't think this list takes into consideration the price of property in the area. Just whether it is considered a desirable place to live.

It looks like this program is to be broadcast tomorrow night (Thursday October 26).

There are no clues on the website so I guess we will have to watch it to see if we made it into the top ten (or the bottom ten!)

No 2 in the 'best place to live' category. Only beaten by Winchester

Here is a link to the article on Horsham including the video clip that was shown on the show:

Apparently the only bad thing about Horsham is that we tend to be a bit overweight. Oh well, guilty as charged. It's probably due to all the eating and drinking out we do in Horsham.
