Horsham BRANCH

Women in Business

Women in Business (WiB) is a not-for-profit, non-political, voluntary network for women in business. The organisation started in Haywards Heath in the early 1990s, and there are now seven branches in Sussex, Kent and Essex. The WiB (Sussex) site covers the 3 Sussex branches: Horsham, Brighton & Hove and Crawley.

The members are drawn from a diverse range of business backgrounds:

  • women running a small office/home office - including self-employed or freelance
  • women who own or manage their own small or medium enterprise
  • women who work in the family business, and
  • women holding management / professional positions in larger companies or multi-nationals.

The regular monthly activities include lunchtime or evening informal networking opportunities and lunchtime seminars with a guest speaker. The events are open to all WiB members, irrespective of their home branch, and are also open to non-members - who can visit two events before joining WiB.

What can I gain from joining Women in Business?

If you join Women in Business Sussex you can benefit in a number of key ways:

  • be part of regular networking sessions
  • learn from targeted events with inspiring speakers
  • benefit from an opportunity to meet customers and suppliers
  • share experiences with like-minded women
  • as well as enjoying great value for money!

How do I find out more about the Horsham Branch?
