| Hi, I run a web site called Hidden Horsham. It is designed to highlight the interesting / obscure / hidden architectural features around the town centre and beyond. I may be popping up on this forum to seek help from those who can remember Horsham in the past M

| Hello again, just another note about my site. It has continued to grow over the last few months. The most recent change is the addition of links to aerial photographs for each feature. This may help to identify when the features are within Horsham. The feature I am currently working on is the water trough opposite the Capitol theatre. It would seem that these were placed by a charity and are for cattle and horses to drink from. The charity still puts water fountains into schools. Some of the fountians on their site look like the jubilee fountain so I am wondering if there is some kind of link there. I have a bit more reading to do before publishing that page I also plan to put some more advertising on the site now that it is getting more hits. I am trying to keep away from the Google ads and have some that relate to specific businesses around the town. As ever, I would appreciate feedback on the site and additional information on any of the features. In particular I am still trying to find out about the building that the Salvation Army charity shop used to be in, in East Street. At the moment it is empty with a view to its conversion to a fish restaurant* but what was it built for? It doesn't look like a shop front, more like a cinema. *by fish restaurant I mean a restaurant where you can eat fish, not one where you take your goldfish for a meal on its birthday
