I am confuzed

Kleeneze man has offered to take me on the road to eazy riches.

I want to find out more about this road so I try to ask his friends.

I find out that he has no friends left.

They got pizzed of with him becoz he try to force them down eazy riches road too.

I saw Kleeneze man has sticker on his car about the road to eazy riches.

He tell me this mean I can make lots of money and no longer have to work in Potassium mine.

I ask him if this is true why can he not afford nice BMW to drive on easy riches road. Instead he drive, as you English say, “clapped out old banger”

He has no answer to this.

One thing does make me happy.

Forum comrade Andy has found card with the number of Kleenze man on back of toilet door.

I have seen these cards before in your town of Brighton.

This means that Kleenze man will talk dirtely to me while on the road to eazy riches

I will never put catalogues outside my front door. It is untidy and unsightly. Any business model that depends on this is pathetic. What about charging a storage fee for the safe custody and return of their lost property?

I have just seen a great Kleeneze story in today’s Sun (22 Sept)

http://www.thesun.co.uk/article/0,,2-2007440151,00.html

Unfortunately the online version doesn’t have the full text of the letter that was sent by the Kleenezes rep [to a customer who had binned the catalogues].

I don't think the avon catologue will be chucked near my door again. Not unless they happen to be into dumpster diving ( could become the new estreme sport .

I have just been sent this by a PM.

Do you watch TV  or read newspapers ? I don't for two reasons, 1) I hate watching other people getting paid for producing utter rubbish, 2) the newpapers produce mainly more rubbish and then clutter up the house.

The Kleeneze catalogue is usually collected by some dedicated person who has no idea if you had one the other day or not. Further to this, that dedicated person not only delivers that book in an attempt to provide you with a service, but is probably helping a team of other distributors make some extra cash in order to prop up their cash shortage dilema, instead of sponging from the state.

Now what I would like you to think of every time you receive a catalogue, whether you read it or not, by placing it outside, sealed to stop it getting wet, 1) it will not clutter your house, 2)It may help that poor soul earn a bit of extra cash when its delivered again and again, & 3)One day you may need one of those useful products they sell, that you have probably never seen.

Now, lets go back to the telly and think about all the unsolicitored crap that comes out of that. Do you, everytime an advert appears or some bad language, porn or nudity appears in front of your eyes, do you straight away throw the TV in the bin ?

I bet you're a really nice bloke, I only hope the next time a Kleeneze catalogue comes through your door you think about it before throwing it in the bin.

To the person that sent it..

You can't compare the TV and newspapers to Kleeneze because the difference is....

I have the CHOICE whether I turn the TV on or buy a newspaper. I don't have the CHOICE to stop receiving your catalogues.

So I will continue to throw then straight in the bin thank you!

Reading all of the post on here I understand where you are coming from However a a small notice on your door saying NO catalouges is not un reasonable We as active distributors (not in your area) have many elderly customers who rely on us not only for catalouges but as shopping and errand runners also the odd D.I.Y job doers.

Please note your last post  comment

"It seems the root of the problem is that it is very hard to make money from selling products alone. The people making the money are those higher up the chain (pyramid?). These people earn money recruiting more agents etc. Those at the bottom soon get fed up and move on."

The word pyramid is not repeat not any thing to do with this business "pyramid" selling is illegal and is the practice of selling nothing but gaining money by deception.

As for people leaving 9 out of 10 times people leave Kleeneze because to many people throw away the Book packs, which the new distributor has paid for and usually as a last ditch  attempt to get themselves out of financial trouble or going on the dole and being a burden on the state ( us tax payers) .

So please if you do get a Kleeneze book thro your door please put it out so that perhaps some hard trying individual can perhaps continue to stay off the dole or benefits.

Dont worry about Betterware books distributors do not pay for them they are free

it'snice to be important, but itsmore important to be nice

This is typical mantra from MLM people.

Call it what you like but the people at the top are still getting rich at the expense of the people at the bottom.

I will continue to throw your catalogues straight in the recycle bin for all the reasons I have posted in this thread.

To be fair, I asked our local Kleeneze bloke not to deliver to us any more and it stopped. But betterware just never give up. I think the round changes hands so often that we just get swamped. At least once every month our estate get done and they don't get it. No one wants it.

As a betterware agent I try to do my best.  I delivery about every 6 weeks.  I loose 1 in 10 books. I get an order from 1 in every ten books.  Orders are from £0.99 to one was £149.99.

I deliver Monday mornings and collect, Wednesday mornings.  If its not out I will knock,  if no answer.  I will slip a requesting to be left out for Friday am, with slip enclosed please.  I will then go back Friday am.  If not out, I will knock, if no answer.  I will post slip saying collecting Sunday afternoon, please enclose slip.  If on Sunday its not out I will knock.  If no answer I walk and mark as failed collection.  If this happens, to consecutive times I do not bother to waste my time any further.  If some one leaves me, a note asking for it not to be left.  I remove them from my list.  If someone asks me not to leave it in person,  I will thank them and remove them from my list (this saves me wasting time).  I am always polite,  even when people are not.  I always ask for slips to be returned.

By Failing to return catolgues to reps all it does is damage the environment and cost us more time.  As we have to use more brochures, slips, order forms, plastic bags, paper, ink, pens, electricity and selotape.

Cold calling signs are ignored as Betterware is a registered catalogue and their is no reason for you to be inconvienced.

Just put it out on collection day as if it was your rubbish.

If you put out a little note saying no betterware or no Catalogues I wouldn't deliver.

What realLy annoys me, is people that order and then never want to pay for it.

I do this job to allow my son to be able to attend cubs have some pocket money and pay for his birthday and christmas presents.

I hope you find these comments and my approach and attitude to be fair.  I am sorry if their are bad reps out their.

I advise you to place a small note on you letter box stating no betterware or no catalogues.  Then if rep persists their is no excuse,  report them and give them abuse they deserve it.

oh what joy
