All .... Had a very long day and wanted to chill with wife in front of DVD. Went down Lintot Sq to get a DVD and its gone. Ace Movies has gone???? Moved to Horsham apparently - thought they had Blockbusters?. When and why did this happen?

| DVD's by mail are probably squeezing the shop rental business. Half the time I popped over, the chap was in the bookies. But, to his credit, if he said a film was good, it always was.

| It has moved to the road where the Lifestyle Mazda/Ford dealer is in Horsham. I was never really impressed with that place. As you said he seemed to spend most of is time down the bookies. I went there once and some girl was looking after the shop and was arguing with someone on the phone and swearing like a trooper! Took the kids straight back out!

| Ace Movies is still going,it can now be found in Horsham town centre.Across the road from KFC & Hoads furniture shop. Also any member of the Southwater store still has an active membership with the new store,so no need to re-join or god forbid use Blockbusters! The shop is much bigger, brighter & more user friendly. After asking why the move I found out that he was priced out, appartently all the rents in Lintot Sq are set to rise the end of the year.so there be a lesson here,if you want shops in Southwater..use them!!
