Horsham is a pretty good place to live.

It has a defined centre with reasonable shopping. It has a theatre. It has good recreational facilities including open spaces and leisure centres.

You can walk down the road and people will smile back or say hello.

It is nicely positioned between London and Brighton. It has nice countryside around it.

The houses are expensive but they are everywhere in the UK at the moment.

(See ... I can be nice! )

Nice one Tester

As you appear to be in a good mood do you know something Believe it or not a fall in house prices would actually suit me too!

Ernie,

You are absolutely right. The average person is not that financially astute and probably doesn't realise:

1. They would actually benefit by lower prices.
2. If the market price can rise by 100% it can also fall and it would only need to fall by 50% to be back to it's original value.

Education. Education. Education .

Don't know why anyone would ever want to live in Crawley in the first place.

Well, that is the general idea behind moving to somewhere like horsham Anyhoo, Crawley's not that bad - believe me, it's paradise compared to some of the places out there!!

Thanks for th warm welcome from most of you
