Anyone know what happened to the Ghost Walk that was supposed to take place around Halloween time starting at the Carfax bandstand? Did it take place?

I hadn't heard of that one.

I spent a week in York not so long back and 'Ghost Tours' are hugely popular there. Several different companies each operate a 'tour' every evening. Mrs DNW persuaded me to go on with her and I found it very entertaining. I am very sceptical about these things but enjoyed hearing the history of the city from this perspective.

Having read the Horsham's Hidden Horrors book I am sure that there is enough subject matter in Horsham to make a successful 'tour'

I don’t know about the library. I got mine from Waterstones (when it was either Ottakar’s or Hammicks) It’s only a small book and they had them beside the till trying to prompt ‘impulse’ sales (which obviously worked on me!).

You can also get it on Amazon. They are out of stock of new ones at the moment but  they are showing used ones at just 1p! (plus postage):

I got a copy of that book thanks, interesting read especially that doomsday church section, Anyone know of any other local Reputely haunted places?. And what is that strange place up near the warnham brickworks, Some kind of goverment research centre, Is it a front for something else?. I drove up there a while ago and got followed by a sinister motorcyclist dressed all in black with black visor, Couldn't shake him off.
