Hi i am currently just trying to find out if we would benefit from an aquatic shop which sells coldwater, tropical and marine fish, also a shop that would sell reptiles including extras from frozen foods to vivariums which would offer friendly professional advice, could you please let me know if you would benefit from a shop like this in horsham as just trying to do some research first.

thanks

kyle

Not being a fish person myself I am not sure but I do know that there is one or maybe two in Billingshurst and a Koi Carp farm near Warnham.

Hi Kyle

Thank you for registering and welcome to the forums.

I used to keep tropical fish myself and was surprised at the lack of a dedicated tropical fish shop in Horsham. In fact I occasionally used to travel all the way to the
Goldfish Bowl in Oxford (a shop I had used when I previously lived in that area).

Some of the garden centres stock some of the more common coldwater and tropical fish but I don’t know of anywhere that stock the more specialist species. (e.g. I used to keep Rift Valley Cichlids and would again if I had the room).

I would imagine that a well stocked aquatic shop would do well in Horsham if you could find the right location.

Good Luck
