I agree. I think it will be a big problem for those people without their own transport. It will also no doubt increase the already long queues at Horsham Post Office during peak times. Southwater Post Office used to be part of a much larger store than the one it is currently located in. I would imagine the move to Lintot Square has resulted in a much less viable business. Incidentally, for some reason Southwater Post Office never did sell car tax discs. I got caught out by that one a few times.

| This was reported on Mercury FM news this afternoon. It is hoped the concern will be bought and the post office will be up and running again as soon as possible, so lets hope so. Apparently the Southwater Business Resource Centre in Beeson House has set up an emergency posting service.

| I was in Southwater Business Centre on business today and can confirm they are running a limited postal service. They have weighing and franking machines and can accept packets and small parcels for posting. They do not have the facility to track the deliveries via recorded or special delivery etc. I was at SBRC for about an hour and several people made use of it during that time. It seems to be a very useful (if limited) service that they are providing at no profit to themselves. Hats of to SBRC for doing this.
