| The open air pool was opened in the park in 1934. Was that the same pool, with the roof added, that was demolished in 2002? Or was a new, enclosed, pool created to replace the open air one, then demolished in 2002. If anyone can help with this that would be great, especially with the date of the roof-putting-on part Thanks M

| I now have the answer: a new pool was built on the site of the open air one in 1981.
