| The advert below was clipped from the Eagle Comic for Boys in 1957. Bertram Mills Circus was visiting Horsham on Thursday 20th June and was offering free tickets. Can anyone remember this visit or throw more light on it. Although the year is not shown on the advert I have found that there was only one year where June 20th fell on a Thursday during the 1950s - and my Eagle expert source tells me this advert was only run in the 50s What would be especially good would be to hear about anyone who was lucky enough to win one of the 20 free tickets that were given away to lucky Eagle readers. Next stop is the WSCT to see if they have a report on the circus visit
