Hello

I've recently moved down to Horsham and am looking to play a bit of football. Nothing too serious, just a regular kick around every week either 11 or 5 a side. It seems all the leagues mostly cater for people who have teams already so does anyone out there need someone or know anywhere I could turn up and get a game. weeknights or weekends are fine - just so long as it is in or near Horsham.

On a similar subject can anyone suggest a good social sports club for me and my girlfriend to join to get in shape and also meet a few new people. We are both in out thirties so it's probably too late for the skateboard club but pretty much anything else goes

Thanks

Hi ldh

Thank you for registering and welcome to the forums.

I have got two left feet I am afraid and haven't kicked a ball around for many years so I'm afraid I cant help you with the football.

You might want to have a look at the Horsham Football Club forums to see if anyone there can help you:

Regarding keeping fit in general the council provided facilities at Broadbridge Heath Leisure Centre and the Pavilions in the Park are very good.

I have been a member at Broadbridge Heath for over 10 years and think it is great value for money. They also have a couple of floodlit football pitches which I believe are available for hire. It's not really a social club though. They have a few events but if you want a true 'social' club it's probably worth looking around for a private club.

The dads of St Mary's Primary School (Horsham) children have been looking to increase their numbers at Broadbridge Heath Leisure Centre on a Tuesday evening. Can't remember the time but phone the school and they will tell you
