I have just received this warning from the Horsham District Crime and Disorder Reduction Partnership:

SECURITY ALERT

Forged Bank of Scotland notes

There have been a number of instances of forged bank notes which have been passed or attempted to have been passed to premises in the Horsham District, this week.

So far they have been targeted at Garages and Licensed Premises. Notes are all £20 Bank of Scotland some bearing the Number B26 612047, they do not have a watermark or silver strip.
