Am I the only one who has had to visit the dump to dispose of extra rubbish recently? BigGrin

No, I don't think so! I wonder when we can expect a back to normal service from our refuse collection service, specially as the HDC webpage on this seems to be non existent?

It has always struck me as a bit odd the the refuse collection service takes a week off over Christmas. Never seen a good explanation for it!

I think our refuge collection service is a disgrace. I agree with Dancemix, I had to take extra rubbish to the tip. We stayed at my mum’s in Brixton, south London. They have a superb service, where they even had collections on Boxing Day. I saw them! Lambeth council used to be a byword for a poor service and corruption now that the Liberal Democrats have got in they really have a decent council. Here we pay through the nose for a literary ‘rubbish’ service. Time for a change I think in the upcoming May elections. Angry
