It was a really good night, the band were brilliant and the good barstaff were working, not the one who almost put me of going in their for life. It was nice to see it full for a change, it was much busier than the Lintot, especially as there never seems to be anyone there when I drive by.

RE: Live Music in The Hen and Chicken

I popped down the Hen and Chicken last night for a quick drink prior to our new year celebrations. Alter Ego were playing and were very impressive. It might be worth checking them out next time they are playing there:

http://www.myspace.com/alteregoukband

RE: Live Music in The Hen and Chicken

they have played the hen and chick b4 the gigs @ the dragon r always good so enjoy!!!

RE: Live Music in The Hen and Chicken
miffy (27/11/2007)
make sure you see the cooton candys killers they play @ the dragon in horsham too
Are they playing at the Hen and Chicken?

Thanks for pointing out this band I have just been listening to their MySpace page:

http://www.myspace.com/cottoncandykillers

They sound good and I am into most of the stuff on their 'influences' list. The "Tube Snake Boogie Band" were playing. They were fantastic. It was great to see the pub full and see people of all ages enjoying themselves. Apparently there was a great band a couple of weeks before. Lets hope these music nights become a regular thing.
