I imagine this is a problem with automatic context driven Google ads. It may work for some sites but obviously not all!

I have just been look through the WSCT reports on the Ricky Butler trial, and on the bottom of one of the pages was this block of adverts. The lowest of the low in my eyes, as this young man died of a severe head injury. If I was one of his friends or relatives I would be demanding an apology from the Editor. :angry:

Advertising ambulance chasing services like this for brain injuries is plain sick.

I must say DNW, I quite agree with you. I did comment on this earlier in the year when the WSCT website was the subject of one of the threads.

Again, as I said before, the "Did you know the woman?", is their way of getting a name from a member of the public, before the police announce it.

As for showing the crash scene, that really is in very poor taste. :angry:

I know this has been mentioned before on this site but I think today's headline is particularly bad.

"Horsham woman in fatal accident - crash scene picture".

followed by

"Did you know the woman?"

and then

"The woman has not yet been named by police as next of kin are still being informed".

I think the WSCT website provides a great news service and I am very grateful for their permission to use the RSS feed on this site, but, I have to say I think this sort of reporting is insensitive to say the least.
