He did say the bartender wasn't "being an a**hole" to them, but simply encouraged them to go somewhere else. Not wanting any trouble, they finished their drinks and returned to our flat. They went into the Green Dragon and told me they got a definite sense that they were not wanted. Then, when they ordered a drink, the bartender told them they should find a different pub.
