I was born and brought up in Roffey. Like other parts of the town it has its problems, but I never felt unsafe living up there. A lot of the area is a pretty nice place in which to live now.

I don't know Roffey but most of the town is pretty good, Roffey looks good with a range of properties and its own local shops

Im my opinion i would avoid anywhere near the y centre (hoodie central) and avoid anywhere near the nightclub too. otherwise it's ok pretty much anywhere.

Hi Sarah , I moved to Horsham 3 years ago , so do not really have a good backgrounding on the good or bad parts. All I can do is comment on the part where I live - which is the east side of Horsham , in the Millas school area.

If you are looking for a Flat then this is not the side of Horsham for you. It is mostly houses. Its a bit "sleepy" with a high percentage of older residents around retirement age. Young families are begining to move in though.

Thank you for registering and welcome to the forums.

Horsham is a great place to live, generally crime is very low throughout although, as the recent Ricky Butler case has sadly proved, even Horsham is not immune from the occasional shocking event.

Some areas of Horsham do have more of a 'reputation' than others but admin off this forum I feel I should avoid 'labeling' them to avoid offending anyone.

Moving to Horsham

Hello everyone :)

My boyfriend and I are looking at moving to Horsham and I really wanted a bit of advice. We know the area a little as my boyfriend's parents don't live too far away, however we don't really know anything about the residential side.

Is there anywhere to avoid when buying, I know Horsham has very low levels of crime but I am worried about buying somewhere that seems to good to be true, and then finding out it is!! We're probably looking for a flat, somewhere pretty central as I don't drive.

Any help would be really appreciated, might even buy you a drink when we move!!
