It's an excellent story, and I know that it took place in Broadbridge Heath as well, and I think it would make a wonderful comic. I'd probably have to embellish it in a few places, but its fascinating. I'll have to research it a bit more.

RE: Am I the only one

By the way, I like your work. Its a fantasy comic, heavily influenced by folk tales...well, that's the plan anyway. I've got the first issue drawn (called Shoots) but I've yet to get it all printed up.

Also, if anyone knows of any local folk tales or legends, let me know, I'd love to do something like that in comic form.

RE: Am I the only one

Welcome Rich, perhaps you could post a few samples of your work for us :)

RE: Am I the only one

I draw them on paper and scan them in.
I did digital stuff for ages, but have slowly moved back to traditional methods. If anyone is or knows anyone who does this sort of thing (reads comics, make comics, draws comics, that type of thing) please get in contact with me. My email is richard@richardtingley.co.uk, and my webby site is www.richardtingley.co.uk.

I look forward to hearing from you.

Cheers

Rich
