I now have the answer: a new pool was built on the site of the open air one in 1981. See my feature on Hidden Horsham telling the story of Horsham's four public swimming pools

The open air pool was opened in the park in 1934. Was that the same pool, with the roof added, that was demolished in 2002? Or was a new, enclosed, pool created to replace the open air one, then demolished in 2002.

If anyone can help with this that would be great, especially with the date of the roof-putting-on part
