Incineration is becoming a far greener option and the process is much cleaner these days with the heat and waste being useful by-products.</P><P>Recycling is the third best way to reduce the amount of waste we produce. The best way is not to produce it at all. I detest it when I see tomatoes in polystyrene trays covered in cling film - even more so when they are on the vine! Surely that must contravene the trans-shipment of waste directive. I guess the question was rather closed and maybe other options should be put forward like encouraging more recycling and forcing manufacturers to use less plastic and others packaging.</FONT></P><P><FONT size=4>But would 91% of Horsham really like to see a waste incinerator on the outskirts of the town?
