It's actually called a weathervane and viewed from the South should look more like this.

They have fitted it approximately 180 degrees out! :hehe:

Thanks for that fact Clive. I wonder why they built it too high? That seems quite a basic mistake. Maybe they had allowed for an extra floor etc.

The mistake I was referring to is a lot more simple than that. Has anybody spotted it yet, considering that my photographs where taken from the South of the building?

When Swan Walk was renovated/improved a few years back, the lift shaft was built 'too high'. I believe that Horsham Council asked the developer to 'cover it up' with the building in question.

It is a satellite dish. I don't know who it belongs to but I know satellite dishes always point to the Southern Horizon.

I took those pictures for the top of the Blackhorse way car park which is approximately due South of the Swan walk car park.

Think about where I was standing when I took it.

The second clue is - What is that white circular object on the side of the building on which I am standing.

There aren't any windows and it has no garden! I guess that it is just to house the lift gear and cover the lift and stairs - and look not too industrial along the way.
