That escape exit I was always led to believe was for staff, and official visitors. I got a Rover, but haven't managed to ground the undercarriage, yet...

We cycled through there this evening and the work in the main car park seems to be complete. Looks much bigger so expect more chaos - or, lets be positive, much better

Yes but why should we have to pay extra for delivery when Tesco / BBH sports centre can't plan a car park? It costs £5 extra for delivery, in this financial climate this is not ideal....
Also, my wife's car scraped the bridge thing too. I am getting ready to write a letter to Mr / Mrs Tesco:(

now people have started realising why I got a small car perched high on it's suspension... the greater fuel efficiency means I have to go there for petrol less (also cheeper and greener) and it clears bumps nicely

The BBH parking and exiting problems are well past their sellby date. I've had to resort to paying the delivery charge and shop mainly via the internet, if only to avoid being arrested for parking rage :D

Thankfully the damage wasn't as bad as I first feared.

A big thanks to Tanbury Ltd for sorting it out quickly and cheaply.

I won't be taking that car over that ramp again though (fortunately Mrs DNW's car has a bit more ground clearance)

Oh my god :pinch: First time i went up that, i went far too fast and it made a god awful sound but i assumed it was me going too fast. Next time i used it, went dead slow and still felt like i had gone too fast.

Why have t hey changed it? It was fine before. Now no matter what time of day you go you have trouble parking and there is so much wasted space at the front. And what good those men in yellow jackets are doing "directing" traffic, i do not know.

We've stopped going and pay for delivery now because of the pain of the parking. My wife doesn't take my daughter to Heath Horrors at the Leisure Centre anymore for the same reason...sort it out Tescos

You might also have noticed that the trees have gone to make way for more cars. This includes the commemorative tree that was planted to mark the opening back in 1987. It looks like the plaque has been quietly lost too!

I have to agree. It's completely impossible for much of the day. The new 'system' of lane directions in the car park seems to make it more difficult to get parked. And the incomplete markings are dangerous. I also know someone who nearly an accident.

I often use Broadbridge Heath Leisure Centre without shopping at Tesco. The old sports centre car park has been bought by Tesco apparently and is now being converted into a new petrol station. This means that users of the sports centre face the same difficulties getting parked [even if they do not wish to go shopping]. You have to wonder whether the council-owned sports centre will lose visitors as a result of the car parking shambles.

I know we have discussed this before, but it's getting worst and dangerous IMO.

I have just returned from Tesco in Broadbridge Heat, and once again the parking is becoming a complete nightmare. They have apparently finished the store, and it's got a really good selection, but I have a complete loss of words to describe how frustrating the shopping journey becomes. The queues in and out are ridiculous, the new layout of the car park is dangerous as marking is poor, and I have seen a few near misses probably fueled by frustration of the drivers. And the fuel queue is also painful. And I don't like their beans......:P

Shame I can't swear here, because I really fell like doing so right now!:angry:

Anyway, we are switching to the other store with a dodgy car parking policy, at least it's safer whilst I think about sending in a letter.
