Thanks. As things stand the epc certificate i can issue is valid for 10 years if not used for marketing your home, If it is to be marketed in the future then a new one will have to be issued along with a hip pack if your property requires one by law. The good news is i will issue a new one almost free of charge apart from lodgement fee's around £10. Thus saving you pounds. Thanks.

RE: Home information packs

Hi Mike - is there a way that we can check that those offering this service are actually accredited by the government , and the certificate that is issued is actually recognised?

RE: Home information packs

slight mistake on charges scale, Should have read 3 beds and over £115, Thanks.

RE: Home information packs

Can't seem to find special offers section, I'll list charges anyway, 1-2 beds £100 3 beds and above £130, Govt figures say homes across the uk through poor efficiency add up to almost 30% of the total co2 harmful polluting gases in this country, And we have the worst insulated and some of the worst performing homes in Europe, That's much worse than all pollution from the vehicles on our roads. If anyone's curious about there homes impact on the enviroment then why not take a survey and get in touch, Thanks for reading.

RE: Home information packs

Hi Mike, perhaps you should put a post in the special offers section and let us know the kinds of charges we can expect

RE: Home information packs

Come to think of it, If anyone wants a energy survey done out of curiosity get in touch, you'll get a unbiased survey carried out and with no hidden agenda, Unlike some energy companies who try to flog you a new boiler or double glazing.

RE: Home information packs
Energy assessor (14/10/2007)
...It should be noted that it is estimated that all properties from studio flats to country estates, will require an epc certificate by law when marketed for sale , Govt estimates reckon by the end of this year...
It looks like your little 'loophole' has been closed then M ;)

ps Hi Energy Assessor, thank you for registering and welcome to the forums.

RE: Home information packs

Thank you for replying, It should be noted that it is estimated that all properties from studio flats to country estates, will require an epc certificate by law when marketed for sale , Govt estimates reckon by the end of this year, The rental market and commercial properties to follow 2008, Nice forum, very informative .

RE: Home information packs

Welcome Mike, I edited your post to make the web address clickable.

We live in a one bedroom house with an office and a study upstairs so won't be needing a pack if we ever decide to sell!

Home information packs

Hello forum, Would just like to announce that if anyone needs an energy performance certificate as part of the home information pack, I am qualified to carry out the survey and issue the certificate, To order Please visit my website at www.southerncountiesassessments.co.uk or contact me on Landline 01403250722 mobile 07969788932
e-mail, southern_counties_assessor@hotmail.co.uk ,
Do your own pack and save ££££'s
Mike James of southern counties assessments.
