I'd have to agree that siting the club in Holbrook residential area hardly seems like the best possible move if the club has plans to move up the leagues (presumably it does). Wouldn't the location be restrictive in terms of travel to the ground, parking, size of ground, nearby amenities for supporters (pubs, places to eat etc)?

On the other hand, it seems likely that Holbrook Club would be swallowed up by housing development if the move does not go ahead.

Whilst Horsham is a medium-sized place, it seems a bit daft that we have three football clubs (HFC, YMCA, BBHFC) within close proximity. Clearly, they are in different leagues but it seems to me to be difficult for any of the three to generate sufficient income to really prosper.

Who ever thought up this stupid idea of putting a football club in the middle of a residential area should be made to move as close as possible to the field and see if they still think it’s a good idea.
