I was sad to learn that another Horsham shop is to close. Crying

Sliver Screen the DVD retailer in Swan Walk is closing down. Only a few moths ago I read an article saying what a success Silver Screen had been and what vision the people who set it up had in gambling on what a success the DVD format would be in the home.

Unfortunately the company has now gone into administration so it is a national problem rather than a local one. The Horsham branch has apparently been one of its most successful stores. I can believe it seeing as I have probably spent more money in there than any other shop in Horsham since it opened. w00t

Hopefully somebody will take the store over in a similar way that MVC was taken over by Music Zone. Good luck to all the staff

They have a big sale closing down sale on at the moment. Loads of cheap DVDs Smile

It has finally closed its doors.

I am sad but that sale was costing me a fortune. They had some great bargains in there. I hope a similar company takes it over.

Agreed the artwork is great!!

The ex Dixons site is definitely the 'new' Barratts. I have not yet heard if the ex Sony Centre site has been re-let, possibly still with their administrators. Ditto no news on ex Silverscreen and Going Places.
