Dave (16/11/2005)
Where are the best live music venues in Horsham and surrounding villages? Dave Hi Dave Good question. I used to be a regular at the old Rock Asylum nights at Broadbridge Heath Leisure centre. They had a mixture of good local bands and top notch tribute bands from all around the country. The guy that ran Rock Asylum moved away a couple of years ago and for the last couple of years this venue has been used for young up and coming local bands. Nothing wrong with except anyone over 30 would feel ancient. (The Rock Asylum night used to have a mixture off all ages). They have supposedly re-launched rock nights and have a new website but the gig list seems a bit thin at the moment. I have been going a bit further field lately to see live music. For example Limehouse Lizzy (the band that changed my opinion of tribute bands ) at The Harlequin in Redhill. I think there would be a huge demand for this sort of act in Horsham if only somebody would promote it at a suitable venue. What kind of music are you into?
