Everytime I visit the Horsham Forum car park, it is littered with rubbish, broken bottles, the stairs stink, etc....

Today, the surprise was to be found inside one of the lifts. There had been a fire inside the lift, the soot was all over the surfaces. Who maintains and patrols this hole? Anyone?

See the picture attached. Unbelievable.

Amazing! With the amount off CCTV in Horsham you wouldn't think somebody could start a fire in that car park and it go unnoticed.

Well this is what I thought, but I wonder who looks after this place. My kids (7 & 10) were horrified by this.

My wife also came across the fire damaged lift when she was in town with my youngest child in a pushchair, luckily the other lift was in service.
I went to sainsburys last thursday evening about 8 ish and happened to glance up at the forum car park. On the 3rd and 4th floor there were a number of youths hanging out of the windows by the lifts and others sat on the floor. Bored teenagers?? Yes, most likely. The source of the fire damaged lift .......not my place to point fingers but i think most people would put 2 and 2 together.
So, who is responsible for The Forums security????

I know the forum car park is not the best, and you never see anyone working there, but it's so much better than the car park that used to be there.  That did smell.

If it's youths causing the fire, we come back to the same problem that there is not that much to do in Horsham, specially things that cost no money.

My wife has a massive issue with this car park.
It is perfectly placed for mother and baby shopping. The slightly wider mother and baby spaces are always packed when she wants to go, yet the disabled ones are almost entirely empty.
I suspect that there must be some legislation on disabled spaces ratios, and it seems fair that there should always be plant yof spaces for them, but I think that there may be a slight imbalance here.

For what it's worth, the top floors are always nearly empty, so plenty of space to park and open doors wide.
