Yes it's time to revive this old thread. (I think I started the last one on this subject)

Does anyone know if any big turn on is planned this year, ie like we used to have a few years ago with fireworks etc???

Maybe TCM could fill us in on this one.

It would be great if something was organised.

There is going to be a parade in town as part of the Town Centre Festival and this will conclude with fireworks. The parade starts in East Street at 5.00 pm.

Perhaps GMC the TCM could furnish us with more details...

What a shame the parade got cancelled, though understandable as it poured.  I enjoyed the band though, they were using bits of rubbish as musical instruments.  It was too wet to stay for the fireworks.

I see from the County Times that HDC has spent £62,000 on the lights this year. It is very important that Horsham retains its reputation for putting on a good show, particularly in these difficult trading times. Hopefully residents will applaud the Council's continued support - and will write to their councillors to say so.
