Hi all, my wife went to tesco this morning at 10am, did an average shop and left just before 11. She has just arrived home by foot (we live the other side of the bypass - 10 min walk) furious having abandoned her car in the car park with the non essential stuff. Again, there appears to be a gridlock in this car park, and this time it has also caused us huge delays and changes of plans today.

So, I urge you to avoid Tesco from now on until they resolve this continuing fiasco.

a fellow broadbridge heathan? personally I never did like superstores, too crowded, too much low quality stuff... I buy my food in small preferrably independant shops, village butchers and bakers and such have always earned my admiration, pity there are so few left, thanks for the warning though, I'm afraid I have to use the petrol pumps there occasionally

Shadow Wolf will personally disembowel with teaspoon the next person to mention HFC (provided said teaspoon is not needed for stirring said wolf's Earl Grey tea)

Great managed to avoid the Tesco fiasco but got caught up in the animals rights protest!

I wonder if these two events were some how connected?

The Horsham & District Youth Football League held their Cup Final at Broadbridge Heath Leisure Centre yesterday, hence the traffic congestion.

You'll want to avoid Tesco's like the plague again today, Sunday 27th April 2008, as it's the Plate match final - you've been warned!!

I currently do my weekly shop on line now; the delivery charge is well worth missing out on all the chaos in my opinion

Thanks for this information JLC

We have taken to doing our shopping online too now. It certainly saves a lot of bother.
