A letter came home with my son this week and it's also been formally reported in this week's County Times (small section on the front page) that Mrs Johnson is leaving after 7 years.

Mrs Johnson seems to have doen a good job, shame she is leaving now but I hope the handover the a good replacement goes well

| Agreed, She first arrived when I went into Tanbridge for the first time in 2000 and I left in 2005. I'm sure she will be greatfully missed by past and present student there.

Agreed, She first arrived when I went into Tanbridge for the first time in 2000 and I left in 2005. I'm sure she will be greatfully missed by past and present student there. sorry for gravedigging a thread and sorry to shatter your little dream but that's tripe, Tanbridge is better off without her.
Shadow Wolf will personally disembowel with teaspoon the next person to mention HFC (provided said teaspoon is not needed for stirring said wolf's Earl Grey tea)

I have to agree with Shadow Wolf. Mr White has been at the school since the beginning of January '08 and he is definitely taking a zero tolerance approach to everything, something Mrs Johnson didn't do. The new Depty Head starts soon too and from what I gather, he thinks along the same lines. I think between them they will turn the school around, which is very much needed.

well, you certainly seem to know what you're talking about, as a former student of Tanbridge I can't find a single fault in your words.
