The recycling point at Redkiln Way / Oaktree Way now has bins out to recycle the tetrapak type of drinks cartons.

With the amount of apple juice that my family get through a week this will be very handy.

Of course the effect to the environment of having to drive all over town to recycle different things probably offsets the value of the recycling

Wouldn't it be nice if they could have one place to take everything.

I makes me feel a bit better when I stop off on the way to petrol station to fill up my 4x4 gas guzzler. Surely a few cartons , a couple of bottles and some old news paper offsets my carbon foot print

From 2009 we will have a single bin to chuck everything recycleable in...

That looks more like a MkI Cortina than a 4x4 gas guzzler I love them

Hmmm ... I wonder if those of us who are currently banned from having "wheelie bins" (because we don't have perfectly flat front gardens) and are hence banned from having the various recycle boxes (because we can't have those without a "wheelie bin") will get the new "all in one" bin in 2009.

Probably not, as I suspect that the "perfectly flat" rule will still apply, so we will continue to use a single black sack (and only one!) for non-recyclable stuff plus car journies to various parts of Horsham for recycling things.
