Its very sad to read today in a national newspaper that teenager Ricky Butler (15) was killed at a party in Horsham by someone using "nunchucks" the martial arts weapons.

If the papers are to be believed this was all over a cigarette. The accused - Richard Martin (18) is appearing in court today.

Being a parent myself my thoughts are with those of the lad that died.

This is very sad indeed.

I first heard of this incident when it was on the MSN homepage yesterday. It just goes to show that, regardless of "Best Place To Live" awards and low crime figures, this sort of tragedy can occur anywhere.

I am sure I speak for the whole forum in adding our condolences to the family.
