| Since moving to Horsham 3 years ago I very rarely see any classic cars poodling about (I talking from the 1970's or older) I can only recall seeing one Moggie Minor in regular use. I can only put this down the majority of houses having garages and so the cars are locked away and out of sight. I have a 1964 MK1 Cortina that is being restored , hopefully to be completed in the next few years. Does anyone else here share a passion for older cars?

| Hello Thank you for registering and welcome to the forums. Unfortunately I have neither the space nor the money to run a classic car. I am fan of classic cars though and just about satisfy my interest with my annual pilgrimage to the Goodwood Revival Meeting. Here are a few of my photos from my favourite race at year’s event: Goodwood Revival St Mary’s Trophy 2007 Do you go to Goodwood yourself?

Being a MK1 Lotus Cortina fan going to the revival is definitely on my list of things to do - I just haven't managed it yet. I do know someone who raced there this year in their baby blue MK1 Cortina GT. I was hoping to get an invite as his spanner man but is never arrived!! I have been down to Goodwood for the practice days of the Tophat classic race series. It has the same cars as the Revival, but its free to spectate and you can wander around the paddocks. Thanks for the link to the photos. That just the sort of thing I like to spend my day looking at when the boss isn’t around.
