| Hi, me again! Finding this site very uselful and your comments are making me even more keen to move to the area. Does anybody commute into London and can tell me what they pay monthly for train travel? Is there a specific monthly ticket you can get? I work in Zone 2 (Vauxhall) and wondered how much a monthly ticket from Horsham/Littlehaven to and from Vauxhall would be, approxiamately?

Hi, the network you will be using is http://www.southernrailway.com/ and you can check prices and times on there. I know that the daily on peak fare is around £22 but don't know the monthly - the site should tell you. It will do stations to London season prices but not station to station  Not sure about the Vauxhall connection though

| £270??? A month??? Are you sure?? I'm not moving to Horsham if it's that much! Currently in Croydon it is £90 per month.

Prices from the web site listed above You have to bear in mind other issues like council tax, parking, quality of life as well as the extra £180 a month for the ticket!
