This is about the 98 bus from Southwater to Horsham and then back again from Horsham to Southwater (With Roffey in between).

I was just wondering if anyone sees any point for that bus to stop at the Hop Oast on the way it's waste of time and energy in my opinion, especially when they have a bus of their on anyway.

Just wanted your views on this matter.

I agree it seems a bit pointless. My wife and I often travel on the 98 from Southwater to Horsham in the early evening and I don’t think I have ever seen anybody get on at the Park and Ride site.

On a related matter there is a letter in the West Sussex County Times this week asking why the 98 doesn’t run to and from Southwater on a Sunday (even though it still runs to Roffey). It seems we are getting short changed in Southwater when it comes to the bus service.

This problem goes back to when buses were de-regulated and are now run for profit. If there aren't enough passengers then the service will be reduced or cancelled.
