Two volumes of the history of Horsham have been released. The first tells the story from 100 million years ago through to 1790. The second volume takes the reader onto 1880. A third volume is mentioned which brings the history up to 2004 although maybe that will be reviewed to a later date depending on how the preparation goes.

I have the first two volumes and it is a good, widely researched piece of work. Interestingly spiral bound so easy to use on a desk. It has been prepared by the long time curator of the museum Jeremy Knight.

More about is on the council press release here
